On September 28th the Tiffin Womens Volleyball team played against Ferriss State and lost in three sets. The final scores were 22-25, 17-25 and 18-25. Jorden Jenkins reached double digits and is close to breaking a few school records. This was the 6th game of the season and so far the Dragons are not playing to well. They are yet to win a conference game but still have a lot of play ahead of them. Hopefully coach Cordova can come up with a successful game plan for the ladies.
Grand Valley State Univeristy entered the student Gilmore Center to face off against the Dragons on September 29th. It was one of the quickest games I have ever witnessed. The Dragons lost 16-25, 13-25 and 20-25. The third set the Dragons were behind but rallied a total of 8 points in a row to almost string togeather a win. Unfortunatly that was not the case. Putting togeather their blocks was a huge issue for the Dragons this game but in the third set once they started sticking to their blocks they started to shut down Grand Valleys offence. A few things are still to come togeather but hopefully sooner than later the girls will figure it out.
