Men and Womens basketball played against Lake Erie College on February 23rd and came out with two big conference wins. The women played first winning 62-55. The men took the late game beating Erie 80-67. Both teams just one step closer to the conference tournament.

On February 29th the Womens basketball team played Hillsdale College and collected yet another win with the final score 68-58.

March 4th was the home opener for Tiffin University's Womens Lacross team. The girls started off strong but ended up losing 14-19. Ali Quast scored 6 goals for the team. Last year she was ranked number one in the nation for goal scoring and received the All-American award! She came out on fire doing work for the girls but unfortunatly it did not end the way they hoped. The rules for Lacorss are new to me so I have a lot to learn. This is so far the hardest sport I've had to commintate for due to the fact that I am so unfamiliar with the game, So it is something I will need to do more research for and hopefully get the hang of it!

On February 16th the Womans basketball team faced off against Central State Univeristy. The girls came out on fire outscoring Central 76-54. Spoke to coach Pam after the game and she was more than happy. "Everything is finally coming togeather, the girls are playing as one and when they do that they are unstopable". Senior Mandy Jaeb is close to breaking almost every record for womens basketball, and their is no doubt in the squads eyes that she will be able to do so.

The Tiffin Mens Basketball team faced off against Notre Dame Collage a non-conference game on February 1st.The final score was 94-81, a fairly even match throughout the night but in the final 4 minutes Tiffin domiated to take the lead and defence held it for them. Karly Findlay playing another great game scoring double digits for the third game in a row. Keenan Barlow mad eth big defensive plays to keep them in the game towards the end creating a few turnovers.

On February 9th the Womens and Mens basketball team played against the University of Findlay. Both teams earned a win with the Women outscoring Finday 66-51 and the Men 69-66. Both teams seem to be improving each week and I would not be surprised if both of the Tiffin basketball teams make it to confernece play this year. If they continue to press hard on offence and hustle on the D like they have been, Tiffin could come out on top every game!

February 11th Men and Womens Basketball took on Hillsdale College again both teams winning. The final score for the womens game was 65-52 while the men won another nail biter 69-66.
